NESS Behavior Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with an LBA certification to join our growing team in a part-time, remote capacity. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BCBA/LBA to make a significant impact on the lives of children with autism and their families while enjoying the flexibility of working from home with a consistent schedule.

responsibilities:
  • Conduct Initial Assessments: Conduct comprehensive initial assessments (97151) for incoming clients, including conducting a risk assessment during the initial parent interview. This includes collaborating with a lead behavioral technician to complete the indirect portion of the assessment if it cannot be done virtually.

  • Oversee RBT Time: When collaboration with a behavioral technician is necessary for the indirect assessment, the BCBA/LBA will be responsible for signing off on the RBT's time for billing and insurance purposes.

  • Conduct Reassessment Quality Assurance: Review and conduct quality assurance reviews of reassessments submitted by BCBAs working on caseloads. This involves ensuring the reassessment meets all necessary standards and approving it for resubmission to insurance. Reassessments typically occur every 6 months.

  • Lead Kick-Off Meetings: Conduct kick-off meetings with families and the clinical team to effectively transition cases and ensure a smooth start to therapy.

  • Participate in Team Meetings: Attend and actively participate in weekly team meetings on Thursdays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM to review incoming cases, support the administrative team with staffing cases, and navigate the open case list.

  • Conduct Monthly Q&A Trainings: Develop and conduct monthly remote Q&A training sessions for the BCBA team to address clinical questions, provide updates, and ensure ongoing professional development.

  • Provide Reassessment Support: In the event that a BCBA leaves a caseload and a replacement has not been assigned before a reassessment is due, this role will require stepping in to assist the clinical team with completing the reassessment (97151).

position details:
  • Part-Time: 25 hours per week

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 3PM (includes a required team meeting on Thursdays from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

  • Annual Salary: $65,000 (pro-rated for part-time)

  • Status: W-2 employee

qualifications:
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing.

  • Must possess an LBA (Licensed Behavior Analyst) certification.

  • Must have completed the 8-hour RBT Supervision Certification.

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience conducting assessments and providing ABA therapy to children with autism.

  • Strong understanding of insurance billing procedures and requirements.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Proficiency in using technology and virtual platforms for client interaction, documentation, and training.
